Dr. Frida Polli is an award-winning Harvard and MIT neuroscientist turned entrepreneur, investor and AI ethicist. She was the CEO and founder of pymetrics, a company using cognitive science and AI to match millions of job seekers with optimal roles. pymetrics was a World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer and Global Innovator, an Inc 5000’s Fastest Growing company, and Forbes AI 50 company. Dr. Polli held multiple patents for the technology developed at pymetrics. In 2022, pymetrics was acquired by a strategic acquirer, Harver, in 2022, where Dr. Polli became the Chief Data Science Officer.

Prior to pymetrics, Frida was a neuroscientist at Harvard and MIT. Her work focused on multimodal imaging of health and disease. Dr. Polli worked in the Psychiatric Neuroimaging Group at Harvard/MGH, and then in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. She ran large, multimodal imaging studies looking to predict treatment outcomes in depression and anxiety. She won over a dozen awards including a NARSAD Young Investigator Award, the MIT 100K Entrepreneurship Competition, and Harvard Business School’s Robert Kaplan Life Science Fellowship. She is the author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles, including in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the Journal of Neuroscience, and Brain.

A member of Young Presidents' Organization, in 2019 Frida was named one of Inc.’s Top 100 Female Founders, in 2020 Entrepreneur’s Top 100 Powerful Women and in 2024 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics. Her work has been featured by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Economist, Fortune, the Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Bloomberg and Inc., among others. She regularly speaks at events like World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, NYT’s New Work Summit, WSJ Future of Everything, Dreamforce, TechCrunch Disrupt, SXSW, MAKERS and others. She was part of MIT’s Work of the Future Task Force and presented at the Annual Meeting of the President’s Circle of the National Academy of Sciences, and ACM FaccT.

Dr. Polli is currently focusing on the intersection of AI, women’s health and longevity. She is a multi-year member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils. In 2023, she started Alethia to promote ethical use of AI, and in 2024, she started Rosalind Ventures to invest in women founders in science and healthcare and is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Global Consortium for Reproductive Longevity and Equality (housed at the Buck Institute).
