Trilantic North America Congratulates Kodiak Cakes on the Completion of its Acquisition by L Catterton
Trilantic North America, a leading private equity firm, is pleased to congratulate Kodiak Cakes (“Kodiak” or the “Company”) on the completion of its acquisition by L Catterton, a global consumer-focused private equity firm.
Kodiak, known for its portfolio of 100% whole-grain, protein-powered pancake and waffle mixes, frozen waffles and pancakes, oatmeal, baking mixes and a variety of snacking products, received a growth investment from Sunrise, an accelerator of emerging brands in the healthy, active and sustainable living space co-founded by Steve Hughes and Trilantic North America, in 2016. Sunrise, alongside Kodiak’s founders and management team, will remain as minority shareholders of the Company.
